The BZN2020 project use wood to steel connection extensively with many exposed steel features and a variety of coatings include powdering coating and clear coated natural steel finishes. American Steel supplied the structural steel, deck, joists, and glulam details on this project. Erection was a separate contract on this, though American Steel still worked with that team as part of our standard coordination. This project was estimated in two parts, with the structural components bidding first and the miscellaneous package bidding two months after the structure was awarded.
